ANTI RAGGING

The DERAGGER™+ uses Real Time Pump Protection™ to constantly monitor the torque profile of a device, using a powerful detection algorithm that can free & pass the first rags that catch on the impeller/propeller.

The DERAGGER+ will then run a clean cycle, releasing the rags and passing them onwards where they can be safely removed whole, rather than a cutting pump or device which would create particulate that will pass through screening equipment and damage other equipment.

Devices now can operate rag-free, eliminating the need to manually pull & clean them.

 

 

MOTOR PROTECTION

The DERAGGER™+ has sophisticated motor protection included. The following is protection is available:

  • Overload
  • Phase Loss
  • Current Imbalance
  • Overcurrent
  • Undercurrent
  • Frequency out of range

DATA LOGGER

A multitude of data including daily average runtime and current is available in a simple spreadsheet, which can easily be converted to chart format with our included free software.  Additional data includes Voltage on each phase and between phases and neutral, Current on each phase, Frequency, Run Time, Clean Cycles, Trips, Alarms, Reactive Power, Phase Angle, and more.

 

 

WET WELL CLEAN

This application will perform a full draw down of the wet well at user-settable intervals. The DERAGGER™+ will allow the pump to pump the well down below its normal stop level, passing the rags gathered at the bottom of the well forward and FOG or other floating debris from the water surface.  This app can be configured to stop just prior to pump suction, should breaking prime be a concern. It can also be used to prevent ice layers forming.

 

 

DRY RUN PROTECTION

This application monitors the pumps power and on low torque will pause the pump operation. After the pause time the pump will run again until either the stop command is given or a dry well is detected. This provides dry run protection. If this happens regularly the device can be set up to trip the pump.

 

 

FLOAT SWITCH BACKUP

This is useful if only a float switch is available for starting the pump. On start command the pump will run for a user adjustable period of time to pump the well down. This function is useful where the user requires a float switch back up.

 

 

ODOR CONTROL

This application will have the pump to churn the well if it has not run for a user-settable period of time. This prevents stagnation and settling in the well. This reduction of settling or stagnation prevents the well from producing odor.

 

 

DERIVED FLOW

The DERAGGER™+ is able to use a number of data feeds to calculate derived flow of the pump and therefore the station with a good level of accuracy.  This information can be very useful, for example in identifying additional capacity in the system, or easily calculating the cost per gallon pumped, or the wire-to-water efficiency of a device.
